Developer FAQ

Common integration questions

Answers for teams embedding Zaeo data and workflows.

REST or GraphQL?

We support both. Choose REST for simple pulls and GraphQL for flexible joins and selective hydration.

What are the rate limits?

Default limits are generous and burst-friendly. Enterprise plans include custom SLAs and priority queues.

Which SDKs are available?

TypeScript, Python, and Go. OpenAPI/GraphQL schemas are published for codegen in other languages.

How do webhooks work?

Subscribe to audit completion, citation changes, or entity updates. We sign events and retry with exponential backoff.

How is data secured?

OAuth 2.0 scopes, signed JWTs for server-to-server, and field-level encryption for sensitive attributes.

Can we self-host?

We offer regional hosting and private VPC. Fully on-prem is evaluated case-by-case for Enterprise.
